Overlooking the coast of Tuscany, the Promontory of Argentario is a main tourist attraction of the coast thanks to its breathtaking landscape, clear waters and uncontaminated nature.
Once an island before eventually two sandbars were formed joining the island to the mainland and becoming a promontory, giving life to the Lagoon of Orbetello, today the WWF Oasis.
The complex of Argentario includes Orbetello, Harbour S. Stefano, Harbour Ercole and Talamone, as well as the three islands, Giglio, Giannutri and Montecristo.
The numerous beaches, reefs and uncontaminated waters throughout the Promontory and along the mainland are a main tourist attraction during the entire summer season.
